Our Vision

The Native American Education Series will strive to help educators throughout Wisconsin teach the true stories of the heritage, contributions, culture and future of Wisconsin Native Americans. The Native American Education Series will use state-of-the-art technology to create and distribute high-quality education materials including videos, curriculum and supporting materials. The Native American Education Series will work with tribal leaders and historians to ensure accuracy and respect in all content. The Native American Education Series will develop curriculum in partnership with expert education consultants to ensure compliance with mandates such as Act 31, which provides a place in Wisconsin education for lessons on Native American history, culture and tribal sovereignty.
